1. Read Terms and Conditions: Purpose of the Website
Toprofs.com connects students with independent tutors. Users can create profiles, list courses, book lessons, and message tutors securely. Tutors provide services independently; Toprofs.com acts as a platform only. Therefore, tutors control their offerings and students choose whom to hire. Additionally, all platform interactions are monitored to ensure safety.
2. Read Terms and Conditions: Registration and Account Management
- Register with accurate information through our website. Moreover, you must update information if it changes.
- Users must be legally allowed to provide tutoring; minors may access courses with parental consent.
- Toprofs.com may refuse or suspend accounts that break the rules. However, users will be notified of violations.
- Users or Toprofs.com can end accounts anytime with written notice.
3. Tutor & Student Responsibilities
Tutors act independently. Students hire tutors directly. Tutors ensure service quality, follow laws, and pay taxes. Additionally, students should communicate clearly and provide accurate feedback. Therefore, both parties maintain a safe and fair learning environment.
4. Platform Usage & Communication
- All messages go through Toprofs.com’s system. Moreover, this protects personal information.
- Toprofs.com monitors messages to keep the platform safe and fair.
- The platform may contact multiple tutors on behalf of students but cannot promise replies. However, Toprofs.com facilitates timely communication.
5. Course Listings
- Listing courses is free. Content must be correct, legal, and avoid personal contact details.
- Toprofs.com may edit, remove, or suspend listings at any time. Moreover, tutors are informed of changes.
6. Pricing, Commissions & Withdrawals
- Tutors set rates; students pay securely via Toprofs.com. Moreover, all payments are processed quickly to ensure reliability.
- Toprofs.com charges a platform commission from 5% to 8% (minimum €2). Therefore, tutors can calculate earnings easily.
- Users can withdraw funds after reaching €30. Additionally, inactive or terminated accounts require verification before funds release.
- Payments use Stripe, PayPal, WooCommerce, or bank transfer. However, Toprofs.com is not responsible for delays by third-party providers.
7. Escrow Payment System
How Escrow Works
- Students pay when booking; Toprofs.com holds funds safely until the lesson is confirmed. Moreover, this protects both parties.
- Students have 4 days to confirm completion. If confirmed or no dispute is filed, Toprofs.com releases funds automatically.
- During disputes, support reviews evidence and makes decisions. These decisions are final.
8. Automatic Refunds
- Lessons cancelled by tutors are refunded automatically via Stripe or WooCommerce. Therefore, students receive funds quickly.
- No support request is required; refunds happen immediately.
9. Lesson Modifications & Cancellations

- Students can change lesson details up to twice per month. Moreover, tutors must confirm changes.
- Changes must happen 24+ hours before the lesson.
Booking Errors
- Lessons can be cancelled before they start. However, 6% service fee may apply.
- After cancellation, funds are refunded automatically.
- No support contact is needed; just cancel and the refund process is automatic.
10. 24-Hour Cancellation Policy
Lessons can be cancelled or modified at least 24 hours in advance. However, last-minute requests may incur fees or refusal. In addition, this ensures fairness for both tutors and students.
11. Good Fit Guarantee
If a student buys a course package but is unsatisfied after the first course, they can cancel the remaining courses they haven’t taken and receive a refund (subject to the 24-hour cancellation policy), ensuring they don’t pay for what they won’t use. This policy provides a fair learning experience for students while giving tutors valuable feedback to improve future lessons, as the reasons for cancellations can highlight areas for improvement. In this way, both students and tutors benefit: students are protected, and tutors can enhance the quality of their courses.
12. Withdrawal Policy
- Users may withdraw funds after €30 balance. Additionally, verification applies for terminated or inactive accounts.
13. Dispute Resolution
Disputes must be filed within 4 days. Toprofs.com reviews evidence; decisions are binding. Therefore, students are only liable for amounts paid.
14. Student Guarantees
- Payments are held in escrow. When a student books and pays, the funds are securely held by Toprofs until the student confirms the lesson was completed.
- Students have 3 calendar days after the lesson to report any issues to Toprofs support. After that, the class is considered completed and the tutor is paid.
- Students always have 3 days to confirm the lesson.
- If a student cancels, an automatic refund is issued minus a service fee (up to 6%) to cover processing costs.
- If the tutor cancels, the student receives a full 100% refund — no fees applied.
- If a tutor fails to confirm the class by the scheduled time, the system cancels it and refunds the student automatically (100% refund, no fees).
15.1. Tutor Guarantees
- Tutors can choose how they get paid: by bank transfer or PayPal.
- Tutors may withdraw earnings anytime (subject to minimum balance) or enable automatic withdrawals.
- If a student pays but doesn’t attend the class and doesn’t respond within 3 days, the tutor still receives the payment.
- Class changes (rescheduling, cancelling) are not allowed within 24 hours of the lesson.
- Students have 3 days to confirm a lesson. If not confirmed and no dispute is filed, the class is marked as completed and becomes payable to the tutor.
15.2. Tutor Fee Miscalculation
In case of a miscalculation of the tutor’s fee resulting in an overpayment, the tutor agrees to refund the difference within a maximum period of 14 calendar days.
16. Liability & Warranty
Use the platform at your own risk. Services are “as is.” Toprofs.com is not responsible for disruptions, data loss, tutor performance, or user content. Moreover, users must act responsibly.While Toprofs is not directly responsible for the tutoring or lesson services provided, we strongly encourage all tutors to clearly communicate with their students about key course-related details — including travel fees, safety measures, insurance coverage, and any other relevant conditions.
17.1. Personal Data Sharing Policy
Sharing personal data before any booking is prohibited. Both tutors and students agree not to exchange personal information prior to completing a payed booking (excluding trial classes) and commit to managing all lessons exclusively through Toprofs. Any violation of this rule will result in permanent account termination.
17.2. Free trial lessons Policy
Free trial classes are designed to allow students and tutors to meet, assess compatibility, and build trust during a first session. Their primary purpose is to help both parties decide whether to proceed with a paid learning plan.
Any user who misuses or repeatedly exploits free trial classes without genuine intent to purchase may be subject to account review. In cases of abuse, Toprofs.com reserves the right to limit or permanently revoke platform access.
18. Data Access & Monitoring
Toprofs.com accesses data for maintenance, compliance, support, or policy enforcement. Additionally, all access respects privacy regulations.
19. Marketing & User Content
By using Toprofs.com, you allow the platform to use your profile, picture, course descriptions, and testimonials for marketing. However, no complete names are shared without consent.
20. Privacy & GDPR
All personal data follows our Privacy Policy. Toprofs.com complies with GDPR and other data protection laws.

21. Governing Law
